Carmen: *Why do I always have to open the office? I'm not the only one that works here. I think, I'm gonna ask for a raise today. After all I am the one that turns on all the lights, start all the equipment, check the messages and even make the coffee!*
Carmen: OH! Dr. Marcus, you half scared me to death. Dr. Marcus: Well Carmen, I'm glad it was only half. I don't feel like doing CPR today. Carmen: What are you doing here this early anyway? *darn I just missed my chance to ask for a raise* Dr. Marcus: Just running some more tests and trying to isolate this cell. I just can't seam to get the hemoglobin to break down the way it is supposed to. I don't understand it. Carmen: Ok then. I'll just go make the coffee. The first patient should be here at eight. Dr. Marcus: And who might that be? Carmen: Everett White.
Everett: Morning Dr. Welby. I seam to be having a problem with this stuff in my eyes, when I get out of bed. Dr. Welby: It is perfectly normal to have a small amount of eye discharge daily. Everett: Yeah, but what if its some kind of bacteria, that will eat my eyes out or make me go blind? I think it might be something like Atopic Keratoconjunctivitis or maybe Vernal Kertoconjunctivitis. Dr. Welby: Have you been surfing the internet again, Everett? Look if it will make you feel better I will take a swab sample and test it for anything out to the ordinary. And where do you think you picked up a bacteria from anyway?

Everett: I donno, maybe the NoWhere. Dr. Welby: Why Everett, I'm surprised at you. What and why are you hanging out at the NoWhere? Everett: Well I heard that new dress shop owner, Jasmine, goes there. And I wanted to see if she was as pretty as I had heard. That's all. Dr. Welby: Jasmine, is pregnant, I don't think she would go over there. And besides, Everett if you were half as worried about your weight as you are of missing some gossip... Everett: Oh say Doc, I gotta go. I have a, a, an appointment to keep. Call me with the results, will ya? I really hafta go. Thanks Dr. Welby: You didn't even let me finish my sentence. Alright I'll have Carmen call you in a few days.
Jack: Excuse me ma'm, you're the owner, Jasmine, right? Jasmine: Yes I am. Can I help you with something? Jack: Hi, I'm Jack. You wouldn't happen to have this in a size 10, do you. I think my niece may like it for her birthday. Jasmine: Yes, I do in the back. I'll go get one for you, be right back. *What a strange looking man. I'd hate to see what his niece looks like. Uuck, I wouldn't want to run into him on a dark night.* Page 2 |
